Shared Commercial Kitchen Access

White Mountain Economic Development (WMED) provides certified food entrepreneurs with access to a network of shared-use commercial kitchens across Northern Arizona, including locations in Show Low, Winslow, Prescott, Kingman, and Lake Havasu City. These professional-grade spaces give aspiring business owners, caterers, farmers market vendors, food truck operators, and packaged goods innovators the resources they need to grow their businesses while reducing the upfront costs of starting their own facilities.

Eligibility and benefits include:

  • Hold a valid Food Protection Manager Certification (such as ServSafe®)

  • Carry appropriate liability insurance

  • (Optional) Complete Class 1 of WMED’s Food Entrepreneurship Program for added perks:

    • Up to $250 of covered kitchen time

    • Waived participation costs at three local farmers markets

By linking shared kitchen access with certification, training, and mentorship programs, WMED creates a full ecosystem of support, helping food entrepreneurs turn their ideas into thriving businesses. Graduates gain not only professional kitchen space but also the tools, guidance, and market opportunities needed to succeed in Northern Arizona’s growing food economy.
