White Mountain Economic Development (WMED) offers a 3 course, 12-module Food Entrepreneurship Program designed for aspiring food business owners, caterers, farmers market vendors, food truck operators, and more. Led by experienced industry professionals, the program blends group instruction with hands-on mentorship, giving participants the confidence, skills, and support to turn their ideas into thriving businesses.

 

Programming includes key topics like:

 

• Marketing and branding

• Labeling and packaging

• Compliance and licensing

• Pricing and distribution

• Business planning

 

In addition to helping create a clear roadmap for success, graduates of the program also unlock real-world opportunities, including placement at local farmers markets and access to WMED’s shared commercial kitchens across Northern Arizona.
