
Northern Arizona Good Jobs Network
In partnership with Local First Arizona, The Northern Arizona Good Jobs Network (NAGJN) is a comprehensive network of resources for food-related entrepreneurs and businesses in rural and tribal communities. White Mountain Economic Development has created these support services to grow a vibrant food ecosystem across five counties in Northern Arizona, and help startups and small businesses in the food industry scale their ideas.
Available programs include:

ServSafe® Food Manager Certification, which features training, materials and testing for a nationally-recognized certification — at no cost to participants

Food Entrepreneurship Program, which provides no-cost training and mentorship from industry experts around key business needs like marketing, packaging, compliance, business planning, and more

Shared Kitchen Access, which offers commercial kitchen space and access to equipment at affordable rates

Restaurant Upskilling - Utilizing WMED’s SkilUP online Learning Management System restaurant owners have access to over 50 modules to upskill restaurant works.

Non-Technical Skills Training - WMED also delivers a wide range of non-technical skills training such as communication, leadership, financial literacy and others through its online SkillUP LMS.
